Description:          The Department of History (http://history.ucsd.edu) at the University of California, San Diego is committed to both academic excellence and diversity in the faculty, staff, and student body, and is pleased to announce a search for a historian of modern Latin America, with a preference for a scholar of modern Mexico with emphasis on the twentieth century. The appointment to this tenure-track position will begin on July 1, 2014.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong or potential accomplishments in areas contributing to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a desire to play a leadership role in advancing UC San Diego’s commitment to achieving excellence and diversity.

Salary:     Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales
